Thanks for the compliment. You can, unless for promoting racism, hate and other bad things ... I think it is not your intention. Then please show me what you have done, I'll be pleased, and possibly I will link back to your work.
I just woke up to see a beauty painted so pretty and free...lovely hues and caress of colors....the sea is where you can feel yourself fly...let those cares go by...and kissed by the wind..calling you back home again... Lovely picture!!!
Of course : by playing at shooting time, and then playing at post-prod time ! ;o) I insist on the word 'playing' : you must be pleased when you do the job, you must let your imagination run, you must try everything, but sure you have to wait before publishing, forget your image and then re-discover it, and then, publish or throw it to the garbage (it happens a lot) ... For the method you can read my answer (below) to ~darkhorse11 ... At shooting time you have to take as wide of light you can : ideally from deep black to bright white, giving a chance to all nuances between.
First long exposure (half-second) did some blur and softened the violence ;o) At post-processing, several grade filters, one bluring and darkening even more the deep sea, one giving contrasts in far mounts, one softening the light of foreground, ...) Each one moving colorimetry a bit too.
